Today, we have a reader who asked the following question: Is it normal for Fannie Mae to take a while? I'm trying to buy a little land lot out here in Hilbillyville. I've been bugging the agent each day about information for the offer I sent. A couple of days ago, the agent called me and said that my offer was accepted and the sale can happen. I had to make an account on HomePath to upload the offer and the letter from my bank that says I have the money. I noticed the status on there has changed to "In Review." It's been a couple of days now and the agent tells me that she hasn't seen anything. She told me to check my email too, but I also haven't seen anything related to a sale contract. How long do I have to wait? Apparently, the listing ends on 11-23, so I am getting a little worried.
